Designed for hiking, this North Face Jacket is waterproof, windproof, hooded and 100% recommended by North Face's product testers. This slim fitting jacket is made from polyester that features a mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The shell is waterproof but breathable thanks to the DryVent™ stretch shell. The zipper is water resistant thanks to the internal draft flap that will keep you completely dry when you are all zipped up. The hand pockets on the sides are covered and they also feature zippers to keep whatever is in your pockets nice and dry.
This North Face jacket also has a pit-zip venting system under the arms that allows you to unzip a portion of the jacket to let some air flow in when you need it. The sleeves feature adjustable Velcro® cuff tabs that you can loosen or tighten as you see fit. A hem cinch cord also allows you to tighten or loosen it as you want.
